Light Ent is committed to remaining available to our patients. Even when coming to the office isn’t an option, Ear Nose and Throat symptoms still need the attention of a doctor. Our Telehealth Visits allow us to help you, right from the comfort and safety of home.
Telehealth is a medical remote video session with one of our doctors or physician assistants. The videosession is done between you ”the patient” and the doctor using the platform you are most comfortable with: (facetime, skype, zoom, googlemeet).
Most of Ear Nose Throat non-urgent conditions are ideal for Telehealth. By doing Telehealth our doctors will assess if you need further testing.
During the current crisis our world is going through; Medicare & most major insurance companies such as Aetna, BCBS, Cigna, United Healthcare are allowing Telehealth to be billed as a regular visit.
Yes, your responsibility as a patient doesn’t change. Instead of collecting from you at the office, you will be able to call in or mail your payment.
Yes, we will take all your information when you schedule your appointment. After your telehealth visit, your doctor will let us know if you need a future appointment at our office.
